Mad Wolf Mountain is a prominent peak in Glacier National Park’s Lewis Range in Montana, rising 8,341 feet above the Great Plains just west of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. It also bears the Blackfeet name Muk-sin-a', meaning "Angry Woman." That name preserves the memory of a Blackfeet woman known for capturing an enemy man as he tried to steal horses, linking the mountain to both the region’s dramatic landscape and Blackfeet history.
