The memorial honors the men of West Bridgewater who gave their lives in the service of their country in World War II and the Vietnam War: Claude M. Ferrini, Fred Ferrini, William Norris, Walter E. Litchfield, Jr., Mileham R. Cook, Stuart W. Roberts, Edwin R. Piver, and Gary W. Carlson.
