Bowers Covered Bridge, also called Brownsville Bridge, spans Mill Brook on Bible Hill Road in the Brownsville section of West Windsor, Vermont. Built in 1919, it is a single-span laminated arch covered bridge, a relatively uncommon design in Vermont and one of only three known examples in the state. Its structure combines wooden floor stringers, iron rods, and wooden posts attached to arches resting on unmortared stone abutments beneath a post-and-beam shed. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, the bridge was swept from its abutments by Hurricane Irene in 2011, rebuilt and reopened in 2012, and later damaged again by repeated vehicle strikes.
