Cascade Mountain is a prominent peak in central Utah’s Wasatch Range, standing east of Provo and Orem in Utah County. Its summit reaches 10,908 feet, lower than nearby Mount Timpanogos and Provo Peak but still among the range’s major mountains. Several routes lead upward, with the easiest and safest being the Dry Fork trail from Rock Canyon Campground southwest of the mountain and the Big Springs trails from the east. Other approaches rise from near Bridal Veil Falls or the mountain’s western side, but these are considered much more difficult.
