North Clear Creek Falls in Hinsdale County, Colorado, is a waterfall in the Rio Grande National Forest formed by North Clear Creek, a tributary of the Rio Grande. Its significance lies in its plunge over a ledge of Nelson Mountain tuff, volcanic ash hardened after eruptions in the San Juan volcanic field about 27 million years ago. The falls are arranged for easy public access, with an overlook reached by a paved county road about half a mile from Colorado State Highway 149.
