S. Bruce Kephart was remembered as a Child of God, husband, father, physician, surgeon, and obstetrician present at the birth of more than 9000 souls, as well as a crusader in the fight against cancer, Christian teacher, Rotarian, Blue Lodge and Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner, Boy Scout counselor, patron of the arts, world traveler, and fun loving friend. He was portrayed as being here by God's choosing and allowed to live at this time in history to fulfill God's special purpose by showing that God's grace is sufficient for every need and that life is to be lived abundantly with zest, purpose, and joy.
