Patterson Creek Mountain is a ridge in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle that forms boundaries between Mineral and Hampshire counties and Grant and Hardy counties. Along its western side runs Patterson Creek, which gave the ridge its name. The mountain extends from near the meeting of Lunice Creek and the South Branch Potomac River to a point southwest of Springfield. Instead of a single summit, it consists of a chain of peaks and ridges. Its highest point is Charles Knob at 2,723 feet, and other named high points include Round Knob, Turkey Mountain, Huckleberry Ridge, Slate Lick Knob, Middle Ridge, and Buck Ridge.
