Chandler Reservation is a municipally owned conservation area in Warner, New Hampshire, occupying the northern end of the Mink Hills and extending to the crest of the range. Established in 1919 when a son of U.S. Senator William E. Chandler gave the town an initial tract of about 800 acres, it later grew through additional land acquisitions to 1,524 acres and adjoins Harriman Chandler State Forest. Since 1928, an elected Chandler Reservation Committee has managed it. Its history also reflects earlier practical uses, including logging and 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps work that created pulpwood plantations and trails.
