The Elva C Tender Skiff
Industry
The Elva C tender skiff served as the tender skiff for the Elva C, a deck and pound net boat. It was built in 1972 by George Pope Butler at the Reedville Marine Railway on Main Street, and together with the Elva C it worked in this area for many years. The Elva C and its tender skiff were donated by the Swift Family of Reedville in honor of Capt. Ira "Brother" Swift, on behalf of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
