Dameron Marsh Natural Area Preserve is a 316-acre protected area on the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia that safeguards important wetlands for marsh birds, along with beaches and restored forest. Part of a chain of conserved coastal sites, it includes land once used for agriculture that was returned to forest through work by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, The Nature Conservancy, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Its relatively undisturbed beaches also support the northeastern beach tiger beetle. Owned and maintained by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, it offers public access while seasonally closing parts of the shoreline to protect threatened species.
