Douglas Mountain, also known as Douglas Hill, is a small mountain in Sebago and Baldwin in southern Maine and the second highest point in Cumberland County. Part of the Saddleback Hills west of Sebago Lake, it was named for early European settlers John and Andrew Douglas, and United States citizens first settled the area in the 1830s. In 1892, New York surgeon Dr. William Blackman bought the mountain and nearby land and left its most distinctive feature, a sixteen-foot stone tower on the summit. Later protected from development by The Nature Conservancy, the mountain was transferred to the town of Sebago for public recreation.
