Benjamin Church, who lived from 1756 to 1832, was a soldier of the American Revolution who served in General Lee’s Life Guard in 1775, in General Artemus Ward’s Life Guard and Captain Burbank’s Artillery in 1776, and in General Washington’s Life Guard in 1776. He took part in the Battle of White Plains, the capture of the Hessians at Trenton, and the Battle of Princeton.
