Southbridge dedicated an everlasting Bicentennial memorial on May 30, 1976, to those who gave their lives and to the men and women who served the country in times of need during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. For World War II, from 1941 to 1946, it honored those killed in action and those who died in service. For Korea, from 1950 to 1955, it honored those killed in action and one who died in service. For Vietnam, from 1964 to 1973, it honored those killed in action and those who died in service.
