Bramley Mountain, a Catskill peak in New York near Bloomville and Delhi, is best known for the fire observation tower that once stood on its summit. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation erected an 80-foot Aermotor LS40 tower there in 1950, but it closed after the 1970 season and was sold in 1975 for $50, then dismantled and stored by the purchasing family. After the New York City Department of Environmental Protection acquired the parcel in 2008, the Catskill Mountain Club built a summit trail in 2016. Friends of Bramley Mountain formed in 2020, and reconstruction of the fire tower was announced complete in 2024.
