The Hoover - Minthorn House was the home of Dr. Henry John Minthorn, a beloved physician of this community. Herbert Hoover lived here with him from 1884 to 1889. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and operated by The National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of Oregon.
