Cache Valley's oldest furniture store began in the 1880s as Enoch Lewis and Sons. In 1890, the family business entered a partnership with William Edwards, who later became the sole owner and whose name the business bears today. On December 25, 1892, a local newspaper reported that the owners had the latest improved furniture, picture frames, and moldings, and that they could handle plate and window glass of all kinds and sizes and install them at reasonable figures. The original façade is now covered with siding, but the building has been nicely redecorated, and it still advertises "Fine Home Furnishings Since 1880."
