Logan Peak, also known as Mount Logan, is a prominent mountain in northern Utah’s Bear River Mountains, a branch of the Wasatch Range. Located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest about 6 miles east-southeast of Logan, it rises to 9,714 feet and is the second-highest peak overlooking Cache Valley after Mount Naomi. It is distinctive in the Bear River Range as the only summit with a road to the top, though the route is narrow, unpaved, and limited to off-road vehicles. Trails also reach the summit, which has a weather station and telecommunications tower. The mountain is a year-round recreation destination for hikers, mountain bikers, advanced cross-country skiers, and snowmobilers in Crystal Valley.
