Morgan Covered Bridge, also called the Upper Covered Bridge, is a historic wooden bridge in Belvidere, Vermont, carrying Morgan Bridge Road over the North Branch Lamoille River between Back Road and Vermont Route 109. Built about 1887 by Lewis Robinson, Charles Leonard, and Fred Tracy, it is one of two 19th-century covered bridges in Belvidere and part of an unusual grouping of five covered bridges within five miles along the same river in Belvidere and neighboring Waterville. This single-span Queen post truss bridge was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 for both its preservation and its place in Vermont’s notable covered-bridge landscape.
