Church Street Covered Bridge, also called the Village Covered Bridge, is a wooden covered bridge in central Waterville, Vermont, spanning the North Branch of the Lamoille River. Built about 1877 by an unknown builder, it is a single-span Queen post truss bridge designed for one lane of traffic. Its significance is heightened by its place within a rare cluster of five covered bridges along the same stream within about five miles, giving it both local and statewide importance. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, it also reflects the ongoing maintenance needed to preserve an old wooden bridge, including repairs after damage in 1967, protection from fire in 1970, and a complete rebuilding in 2000.
