Norfolk’s veterans monument records the community’s service in four conflicts: World War II from 1941 to 1945, Korea from 1950 to 1953, Vietnam from 1964 to 1973, and Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm from 1990 to 1991. It presents honor rolls of local men and women who served, and it identifies those killed in action during World War II and Vietnam.
