Manx Peak is a 3,044-metre summit in Jasper National Park's Trident Range in Alberta, near Jasper, Circus Valley, and Whistlers Creek. Formed of sedimentary rock laid down from the Precambrian to the Jurassic, it was later shaped by the eastward thrusting of older layers over younger rock during the Laramide orogeny. Dominion Land Surveyor Morrison P. Bridgland named it in 1916 after seeing in its contour lines a resemblance to the triskelion of the Isle of Man. R.T. Chamberlin and B. Herzberg made the first recorded ascent in 1919, and the name was officially adopted in 1951. Its runoff feeds tributaries of the Athabasca River.
