The grateful citizens of the Town of East Bridgewater honored its men and women who served in the World War, naming those who served and recording that Fred Bates Morse was killed in action at Bouresches, France, on June 6, 1918, and that William Henry Pitts died at Commercy, France, on January 5, 1918.
