Upper North Falls
Nature
Upper North Falls is a waterfall in Silver Falls State Park in Oregon, on the park’s eastern side at the east end of Salem. Along the Trail of Ten Falls, the North Fork of Silver Creek drops here on the North Falls Trail, about a quarter mile from North Falls. It is part of a closely grouped cluster of notable cascades that includes South Falls, Drake Falls, Lower North Falls, and Winter Falls. Set on the western foothills where Mount Hood National Forest meets the Middle Santiam Wilderness, it belongs to one of Oregon’s best-known waterfall landscapes.
