Nature
Twin Mountain is a Catskill peak in Greene County, New York, within Catskill State Park and part of the Devil's Path, one of the region's best-known ridges. Named for its two summits, it includes a higher top and a lower peak of 3,590 feet to the southeast. The mountain stands between Sugarloaf Mountain and Indian Head Mountain, separated by Pecoy Notch and Jimmy Dolan Notch. The Devil's Path and Long Path cross its summit ridge. Twin Mountain also lies within the Hudson River watershed, with its slopes draining by different branches through Schoharie Creek, Saw Kill, and Beaver Kill before reaching the Hudson.
