Mount Flume is a 4,328-foot peak at the southern end of New Hampshire’s Franconia Range in the White Mountains. The lowest Franconia peak reached by official trails, it forms the western edge of the Pemigewasset Wilderness within the White Mountain National Forest. Its broad summit views include Franconia Notch, the Kinsman Range, the higher Franconia peaks, and limited eastern views toward the Twin Range. Several established routes lead to the summit from the southeast, west, and north, including approaches by way of Mount Liberty. At the end of a famous ridgeline and beside protected wilderness, Mount Flume is a prominent hiking destination in the southern Franconia Range.
