Windsor Locks honored the men and women of the town who served their country in World War I and World War II and paid the supreme sacrifice, naming six who died in 1917—1918 and sixteen who died in 1941—1946, and in 1953 the town erected a memorial that also recorded extensive rolls of local service members from both wars.
