Harris Glacier is a small body of ice in Glacier National Park, Montana, occupying a cirque just northeast of Parke Peak at elevations of about 7,000 to 6,600 feet. Covering roughly 8 acres, it falls below the 25-acre benchmark often used to classify an active glacier. Its recent change mirrors the wider loss of ice across the park, as it shrank by 77 percent in area between 1966 and 2005.
