Casey Farm in Saunderstown, Rhode Island, is a 300-acre farm whose land has remained undivided across three centuries of ownership. Its main house was built around 1725 to 1750 by Daniel Coggeshall, and the property entered the Casey family through marriage, remaining with their descendants until the mid-20th century. Once supplying food to local and foreign markets, the farm benefited from proximity to Newport until the American Revolutionary War disrupted that prosperity. Later treated as the family’s ancestral home, it was linked to several prominent Caseys and became their burial place. Donated in 1955, it continues today as both a working farm and a museum.
