Anderson Peak is a mountain in Southern California’s San Bernardino Mountains, on the Mount San Gorgonio crestline within the San Gorgonio Wilderness and San Bernardino National Forest. Located 3.2 miles from Jepson Peak, it stands on a high ridge near Mount San Gorgonio among the wilderness area’s better-known backcountry summits. Though it does not rise above the tree line, its crest is often covered with snow from early winter into late spring, giving it an alpine character for much of the year.
