Mount Hope is a high mountain in central Colorado’s Collegiate Peaks, within the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains and inside San Isabel National Forest northwest of Buena Vista. Rising to 13,939 feet, it is classified as a Colorado thirteener, narrowly below the state’s fourteen-thousand-foot summits. Its location places it within one of Colorado’s best-known mountain groups, and it stands as a prominent high point in the broader Sawatch Range.
