Molly's Falls Pond State Park is a largely undeveloped day-use park in central Vermont, spanning 1,064 acres in Cabot and Marshfield around the 411-acre Molly's Falls Pond, also called Marshfield Reservoir. The reservoir was created in the late 1920s when the Molly's Falls Electric, Light and Power Company built a hydropower dam and associated buildings to supply electricity to the Marshfield area. Much of the land remained part of that utility landscape for decades before shifting to public ownership through a 2012 purchase by the Vermont Land Trust and a 2015 acquisition by the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, supported by the federal Forest Legacy Program.
