Flour and wood mills northwest of here helped Bluffton prosper from 1830 to 1870, and this park was built in the old Bluffton mill race through the collaboration of the Wabash River Heritage Corridor Fund, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and the City of Bluffton.
