Ben Lugmore is an 803-metre mountain in County Mayo in western Ireland, part of the Mweelrea massif between Killary Harbour and Doo Lough. Its Irish name, Binn Log Mhór, refers to the deep corrie on its northeast face, one of its most distinctive features, beneath a long summit ridge and steep cliff-lined headwall. The mountain has a small, sharp summit on a narrow high ridge, with two subsidiary tops, and overlooks valleys and lakes on either side. Known for walking, climbing, and winter routes, it also forms part of the Mweelrea Horseshoe, one of Ireland’s notable mountain circuits.
