Brodie Mountain is a long, forested ridgeline in the Taconic Mountains of western Massachusetts, extending about 5.5 miles and containing eight distinct summits rather than a single peak. Known in recent decades for the Brodie Mountain ski area on East Mountain, the ridge later saw that resort close in 2002 and its former land targeted for condominium development. Older trail routes across the ridge have largely disappeared or survive only in altered form. Since 2011, the mountain has also served as a major renewable energy site through the Berkshire Wind Power Project, making it significant both as a former recreation destination and as the home of Massachusetts's largest operating wind farm.
