From 1941 to 1945, men and women from Raynham entered the service of their country during World War II. The community later honored all those who served, and specially identified those killed in action: Chester A. Bearse, Wilfred M. Cabral, Charles F. Cutner, Charles P. Haskins, Thomas M. Hopkins, Francis Murphy, Augustus C. Oliver, Jr., and James J. Perry. The town of Raynham erected this memorial in 1950.
