Adrián Beltré excelled as one of the top all-around third basemen in Major League history in a brilliant 21-year career, the last eight seasons of which were spent with the Rangers. He batted .304 with 199 homers and 699 runs batted in over 1098 games with Texas from 2011-18, was a four-time selection as the Rangers Player of the Year, and earned three Rawlings Gold Gloves and two Silver Slugger awards in eight years in Texas. He had a .300 or better average in five seasons and drove in over 100 runs three times as a Ranger. He is fourth in club history in home runs, ranks sixth in batting average, runs batted in, and extra base hits (448), and is seventh in hits (1277) and total bases (2133). He produced one of the Rangers' most memorable all-time moments with a fourth-inning double for his 3000th hit on July 30, 2017 versus Baltimore at Globe Life Park. A highly respected team leader, he helped guide the Rangers to four postseason appearances. Overall, he won five Rawlings Gold Gloves and four Silver Sluggers and was a four-time All-Star in a career that also included stints with Los Angeles - NL, Seattle, and Boston. He ranks among the top 30 players all-time with 636 doubles (11th), 2933 games (14th), 5309 total bases (14th), 1151 extra base hits (14th), 3166 hits (16th), 1707 RBI (25th), and 477 home runs (31st). He is one of just five players all-time with at least 3166 hits and 477 home runs, and was inducted August 14, 2021.
