The people of Amenia erected a memorial and dedicated a park in respect and gratitude to the town’s men and women who served in the armed forces of their country in times of need, from the Revolution through the World War, and it records those from Amenia who served in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and Desert Storm.
