The Old Bay Road was an ancient Indian trail, the Post Road between Massachusetts Bay and Narragansett Bay, and the first highway in Easton. The Old Bay Road Historical District was recorded in the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of Interior National Park Service on May 22nd 1972.
