Pacifico Mountain is a 7,129-foot peak in the San Gabriel Mountains within Angeles National Forest, about 10 miles south-southwest of Littlerock. It is a well-known Southern California hiking destination, especially because the Pacific Crest Trail crosses the mountain and forms the main route to its summit. That climb is considered strenuous, covering 11.9 miles with 2,490 feet of elevation gain, while a longer route approaches from Three Points on Angeles Crest Highway. The mountain also has a vehicle-accessible campground reached by Forest Service Road 3N17, which closes seasonally. Its lasting place in regional hiking culture was reinforced when the Sierra Club Hundred Peaks Section added it to its peak list in 1946.
