Albright Peak is a 10,557-foot mountain in Wyoming’s Teton Range within Grand Teton National Park. Standing just south-southeast of Static Peak and above the northwest side of Phelps Lake, it occupies the high ridges and summits along the western side of the park’s central landscape. The mountain is significant as the only peak named for Horace M. Albright, the second director of the National Park Service, tying it to the agency’s early history. Known today as a backcountry summit in the Tetons, it is most easily reached by the Alaska Basin Trail.
