The American Heritage Museum in Stow, Massachusetts, is a major New England center for modern military history, especially noted for armored vehicles and artifacts from the major conflicts of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Much of its collection originated with Jacques Littlefield, who built and restored a large military vehicle collection before it passed to the Collings Foundation after his death. Following local zoning disputes, the museum opened in 2019 as a chronological, immersive experience spanning World War I through recent wars. Its exhibits also include memorial and interpretive elements such as a section of the Berlin Wall, a September 11 memorial, and expanding Holocaust-related displays.
