Hectorville Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge associated with Montgomery, Vermont, and with Sheldon and Savannah Jewett, the brothers credited with building all of the town’s surviving nineteenth-century covered bridges. Its exact construction date is unknown, but it reflects the Jewetts’ standardized methods, with timber prepared at their West Hill lumberyard. The bridge has two Town lattice trusses and a one-lane roadway, with board siding and a metal gable roof designed to protect the truss ends. Originally in Montgomery Center, it was moved to Gibou Road in the early 1900s and later placed in storage, yet it remains historically significant and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
