Redoubt Glacier
Nature
Redoubt Glacier lies on the east slopes of Mount Redoubt in North Cascades National Park in Washington. Beginning near the 8,400-foot point on the mountain’s east side, it occupies a high, rugged part of the range. Much of the glacier follows a shallow gradient, with a south terminus near 7,200 feet before spreading northward across a broad front about 1.5 miles wide to around 6,500 feet. Its meltwater feeds Depot Creek, which flows into Chilliwack Lake, and Depot Glacier stands immediately to the west.
