Depot Creek Falls is a towering waterfall in North Cascades National Park in northwestern Washington, dropping 967 feet as Depot Creek pours over a headwall into the valley below. Its descent begins with a plunge of about 200 feet and continues in a long 767-foot slide to the valley floor. A substantial flow for a fall of this height, it carries roughly 300 to 500 cubic feet per second across a river about 125 feet wide before spilling over a cliff nearly 1,000 feet high. Immense spray gathers at its base, and its difficult approach from Canada helps preserve its remote, rugged character.
