Depot Glacier
Nature
Depot Glacier lies in North Cascades National Park in Washington on the northeast slopes of Mount Redoubt. It extends from about 7,400 feet down to 6,000 feet, and its meltwater flows into Depot Creek, which continues to Chilliwack Lake. The glacier is part of a cluster of icefields on Mount Redoubt, with Redoubt Glacier located to the east and West Depot Glacier lying beyond a separating ridge. Together these features place Depot Glacier within the interconnected glacial landscape of the mountain.
