Hazard Farmstead in Jamestown, Rhode Island, also known as the Joyner Site RI-706, is a historic archaeological site marking a major American Indian settlement. Artifacts indicate use across a long period from about 2,500 BC to 1,000 AD, with evidence pointing to seasonal occupation and especially intensive use from late summer into fall. The site was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Later road construction associated with the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge and alterations to Rhode Island Route 138 damaged the site, though salvage archaeology was undertaken beforehand to recover information.
