This cast iron and rod fence, crafted in the mid 19th century, originally enclosed the Italianate home of Dr. Edward Haliday. In the 1890's the property was converted into the Milford Inn. The inn, with its six fireplaces and lovely gardens, was an important Milford destination for over half a century. The fence was given to the borough in 2000 in memory of the family of Jules Calestini, a former owner of the inn.
