Doc's Pass Wilderness is a protected area in northwestern Utah near the Nevada border, encompassing 17,294 acres in the Bull Valley Mountains. Established on March 30, 2009, by the Omnibus Public Land Management Act, it preserves mountain terrain and part of the watershed that feeds Beaver Dam Wash. Its most unusual feature is five miles of perennial, free-flowing stream, rare in this arid region. That stream supports native fish, and the riparian corridor shelters many mammals. Near Cougar Canyon and Slaughter Creek wilderness areas, separated only by a road, it also forms part of the larger Zion wilderness landscape.
