Danville Mountain stands in Liberty Township, Warren County, New Jersey, rising to a summit elevation of 1,122 feet. It is part of the New York–New Jersey Highlands, a section of the Appalachian Mountains. Although included within that highland region, it lies somewhat isolated west of the Highlands’ main body, giving it a distinct position within the broader mountain system.
