Turkey Hill is a prominent landform in the Bloomsburg area of Columbia County, Pennsylvania, forming part of Montour Ridge. Though only 942 feet high, its steep slopes, flat-topped plateau, and the course of Fishing Creek give it strong relief and broad views over the surrounding countryside and part of the Susquehanna River valley. Its name likely arose in the late 19th century from a nearby turkey farm, and a local district once bore the same name. In the late 1960s, Bloomsburg State College built an upper campus on the hill, while farms persisted there into the 1970s. Forest, wetlands, and old creek features add to its natural and geologic significance.
